The Fairbanks Cycle Club held a design contest to create a new 2010 FCC Cycling Jersey. The design process was open to anybody who wanted to participate. Here is the template for the 2010 FCC Jersey Design Contest.

Submissions were accepted up to January 10, either at the FCC Post Office Box (83424 Fairbanks, AK 99708), or by email (send to sec@fairbankscycleclub.org) by the same date.

Any color patterns could be used and either be done by hand or by computer. Then, from January 15 through January 29 anyone could then vote for their favorite design on the club website once and again during the Jersey Gallery and Pizza Event on January 30th (each person could have two votes). The winner was recognized at the Event and will receive either a jersey or a $100 Gift Certificate to their favorite local store (their choice).

The Fairbanks Cycling Club 2010 Jersey will be available to purchase with your club membership for the upcoming season, at the bike swap, your favorite local bike retailer, or through an FCC Board Member.  The cost will be $45 ($75 non members) and all sizes will be available.  The first order of jerseys will arrive around the first part of April.  Shorts and bib shorts may also be available.

All submissions will become property of FCC. In addition, FCC is not required to submit the winning design for jersey printing.
