-- Why become a member of the club?
or, what do I get for $30?
- For starters, if you are not a member, and you'd like to
participate in a club ride or race, you'd have to pay $5.00 for each
event you attend. It adds up.
- Then, you'd see the excellent club jersy or t-shirt or six-panel
shorts on some of the other riders, and you'd want one. You'd find
out that if you buy one from a local shop, you'd pay a lot more than
what members pay. (I guess you could try eBay.)
- You'd even miss out on on the (irregularly) published club
newsletter, Spoke'n'Word, which tells of goings on and club events,
The first issue of the year is published with a copy of the
Event Calendar for the season, and a complete description of the
Tuesday Night Mountain Bike rides, the Women's Rides and other stuff.
- Finally, you'd miss out on all the cool vibes from being a
member of such a low demand club. All we want is for you to join
us, either on the road or trail. We'll show you some great rides,
and you can show us your favorites.
